Overview
During my time as a designer on this extensive in-house project, my responsibility was to integrate all the various engineering components that were developed independently as plug-ins, and merge them into a single user-friendly enterprise solution.
Designing from scratch, I had the opportunity to work hand in hand with our engineers and product owners to shape the future of this product.
Being responsible for the entire UX, my jobs included branding, designing a UI for the mobile app, researching the best ways of interacting with complex rules, and creating user flows, wireframes and prototypes for a management web app.
To aid the development process, I often used various tools for communicating my designs, including pen and paper and Axure RP.
I created functional prototypes in AngularJS for this project, which display finalised views, specific components and their interactions. The benefit of this approach is that these prototypes can serve as production templates, significantly reducing development time.
