Swisscom TV app

Following up on the success of the iOS and Android mobile apps, Swisscom decided to design and develop a native Android tablet version.
I was part of the Youngculture-Swisscom team, led by the designer from Swisscom, responsible for creating Android tablet-specific designs and interactions.
The design had to follow both Swisscom and Android Holo guidelines, and yet provide an improved experience for Swisscom TV users.
I created a detailed IxD specification, followed by a complete set of visual design deliverables, and provided full-time support and QA to our Android developers.
The specification itself resulted from an in-depth usability study of their TV service and older apps, and it gave us meaningful insights on how to improve the UX and get the best out of the new platform.
As a result, we won a Gold Award at Best of Swiss Apps 2013.
